Exploring South
Interested in learning more about South or becoming a member?
Exploring South classes are schedule after a Sunday service where lunch will be provided for you and your family and the pastors will share our mission, beliefs, and answer any questions you have about South. If there is not a class scheduled soon we will contact you with the date of the next class.
Life Groups
Life Groups are a great way to get to know others that are a part of South! We meet in people’s homes, share a snack or a meal together, and spend some time talking through some discussion questions about that morning's sermon. People and families of all ages are invited to take part in these. Kids get to come and hang out or play together too! If you would like to join a life group or are interested in more information, sign up and we will contact you.
Men and Women Bible studies
We also have both Men's and Women's Bible studies available. Currently these meet every other week during the school year. Check our Weekly Information section for information on studies and times.
Teens (6th-12th Grades)
If you have a child in 6th -12th grade, youth Group at South is a blast! We get together, along with some fun adults, on Wednesday nights at 6, to build friendships, study the Bible, hang our in small groups, and have fun together.
Preschool (Age 0-5 Years)
We have classes for children of all ages on Sundays at 10:30. Children age 0 to 5 years old can be checked-in at our Check-In desk in our Children's Lobby each Sunday morning. We will take a little bit of information from you, give your child a name tag and give parents a claim tag and from here you will take them to their class (divided up by ages) in our Children's Wing. These kids will get to enjoy a fun time learning God's Word with our trained and background screened staff. After the serice you will pick them up in the class you dropped them off in using the claim tag that you received at check-in.
Elementary (Kindergarten - 5th Grade)
Elementary kids will also get checked in. They, however, will join you in the service for our worship music time. Right before the preaching starts, they will be dismissed and will be escorted to our Elementary Hallway. Here they will enjoy a fun time of Bible teaching and activities. You will pick them up in the SouthKids Kidtown Hallway following the service using the claim tag you received at check-in.
